Throughout history
where ever automotive racing could be found, a manufacturing rivalry
was soon to follow. Some may remember the bitter Ford vs
Ferrari rivalries of the late 1960's during the 24 Hours of Le Mans
each year, or the more recent rivalries between Chevrolet and Aston
Martin in the GT-1 and GT-2 Classes.
Regardless of what you remember, the rivalries have always been there....Lurking in every corner of every track. Indeed even the prestigious LMP Classes are not immune to these rivalries. The ongoing battle between the powerful diesel powered Audio R10's and the light excellent handling Penske Porsche Spiders are proof of that.
